Man Charged With Burglary After Theft At Volvo Dealership In Lawrence – Patch

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — A Lawrence Township resident was charged with burglary and other offenses after a theft at a local Volvo dealership, Lawrence Township police said Friday.

Jeremiah Kramer, 28, was charged with burglary, theft and criminal attempt burglary.

On Tuesday, at around 9:21 a.m., Lawrence police officers were dispatched to the Volvo dealership at Brunswick Pike on a report of a burglary that occurred early morning.

During the on-scene investigation, police determined that Kramer had entered the building around 3:16 a.m., and once inside proceeded to steal items from the service area and the main office, police said.

He then left the Volvo dealership with the stolen property. A short time later, he attempted to enter the Midas Muffler, also located on Brunswick Pike.

On Thursday, around 5:48 a.m., Officer Wells was patrolling the Township and spotted a vehicle exiting a business that was closed on Brunswick Pike. Wells conducted a motor vehicle stop and the driver, Kramer, was taken into custody for outstanding warrants for his arrest.

Officer Steimle of the Lawrence Township Investigative Division conducted an extensive follow-up investigation and charged Kramer with burglary, theft and criminal Attempt burglary for the two separate incidents.

Kramer is being held at the Mercer County Correction Center pending a court appearance.
